We just had our first Tri-Meet rally of the year at Campers Inn in Merrimack New Hampshire. I would like to thank Tom Kinsman and Bob Pierro of the Yankees and Mo Cloutier and Fred Sage from the Cape Codder’s for their support and a big thank you to all of the volunteer’s that made this first rally a success. A special thanks to my Vice President Dot Sarofeen for her wonderful desserts and Linda Perry’s delicious stuffing. The flyer for the second Tri-Meet rally at Scusset Beach hosted by the Cape Codder’s is in this newsletter. It starts on July 2nd and goes until July 11th. Please read all the information carefully and send in your application by June 5th. Back by popular demand is a cruise on the canal. We have charted a boat that starts at Onset bay and goes all the way down the canal towards Scusset Beach and then back. This is a wonderful time and if the weather was like it was last time the sunset is to die for. So sign up for the cruise when you arrive at Scusset its only a $11.00 per person. We will be collecting the money Wednesday night at the ice cream social. Living on Cape Cod I take it for granted the wonderful beaches, shops and sightseeing. I would like to invite everyone to a new rally at the Sandwich Recreation Field. Come in early Friday and enjoy the walking and bike paths near the field and my wife’s homemade chili Friday night. A surprise Cape Cod omelet Saturday morning and our own surprise chef cooking our Saturday night dinner. We will have horseshoes, pody and a movie Saturday night if the weather permits. Leave at your leisure Sunday morning. If you can’t make it to Scusset Beach this is a great opportunity to enjoy Cape Cod before the busy summer traffic. Our 45th anniversary party is coming up in August and we have a great DJ lined up, a great dinner by our guest chef, old stories to share and wonderful new memories to make. Please join us August 20th to the 22nd at Melville Campground. Look for more information in our next newsletter.
