Another rally season is coming to an end. Where does the time go! We just had a new rally at the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro. I want to thank Bob Heap and Dotty Sarofeen for putting this rally together. We were all welcomed by Brother Bob on Friday afternoon and had a wonderful dinner in the large open field located at the Shrine. We enjoyed a wonderful walking path through conservation land, a farmers market at the Shrine parking lot and we topped off Saturday night with Italian dinner prepared by chef ’s Brian Sarofeen and Brian Morse. They prepared the ingredients and we designed are own pasta meal. The aroma filled the dining hall at the Shrine as we enjoyed every bite of the dinner. Thank you so much Brian S. and Brian M. and your friends and family that helped to make our weekend terrific. Our September rally is at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. The last newsletter had the application but if you missed it or want more information go to our website at www.northeasternfmca.com and print the application or email my wife at 1northeasternfmca@comcast.net and Heidi will forward you the flyer. Its a no frills rally and it is FREE. Bring your luck to the casino, enjoy dinner in many of the restaurants or take in some of the shops. The last rally of the year is the Tri-Meet at the Oakcrest Field in Sandwich, Mass. If you missed last year mark this one down on your calendar. We have Bob King and Bob Townsend cooking another fabulous Octoberfest dinner Saturday night. We will be carving pumpkins, and lighting them at dusk and holding our annual election meeting and updating a new rally schedule for the 2012 season. The flyer and election ballot is enclosed in this newsletter and we hope you will come and enjoy the last rally of 2011. We are always looking for new rally ideas, locations, hosts and volunteers. If you have any ideas or would like to help host a rally please see me at a rally or you can contact me via email or phone. This winter we will slowly transition most of our members newsletters from paper to email and if we do not have your email please contact Heidi or I. By using the internet we can save the club a lot of money in printing and postage cost. Hope you all enjoy the rest of rally season and safe travels.
